The OMA Insurance has transitioned to Manulife
Manulife has a dedicated call centre exclusively for OMA members to update their information or have other questions answered. Members should call 1-888-596-8881 or email email@example.com.
Update your billing information as soon as possible to avoid interruption to coverage. For health and dental policyholders, billing began in August and continues based on the policy you have per the premium notice you received from Manulife. For all other policies, your billing began in September.

Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada sold its creditor and affinity business to Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company. OMA insurance products fall under the affinity business, and this is the part of its business that provides benefits to OMA members. The OMA was not consulted in this decision and this transaction was completed on Feb. 1, 2023. The OMA advocates for the well-being of our members and, as such, went to market and evaluated the insurance options available. The OMA accepted an offer from The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (Manulife), approved by both the OMA Insurance and OMA Boards, to continue to provide the same excellent service our members have come to expect, starting on Sept. 1, 2023.
Your current policy remains in force, which means that there will be limited impact to your coverage. We urge you to read your notice of change and/or certificate for the specific policy contract terms of your coverage.
The change is effective Sept. 1, 2023.
Yes, Manulife has access to your policy information. Should you need help, please contact 1.888.596.8881.
Premiums will be available on your statements from Manulife. Please note that the billing cycle time has adjusted to be 30 days in advance. Securian withdrew premiums in order to ensure no interruption of coverage until the end of August, and Manulife withdrew premiums to ensure continuance of coverage, in the event of a claim.

Communications from Manulife were sent by email, and by mail for those members whom we do not have an email address. If you have not received any communication, please contact Manulife Customer Care Centre at 1-888-596-8881.
Your new Manulife drug card has already been sent by mail. If you have not received it, please contact Manulife at 1-888-596-8881.
